How the Daily Challenge works →Charge up. Throw down.
Flip on Attack Mode when you host an online game or start a Solo Blitz. Every card you play to the shared area charges your bolt. Fill it and you're dealt a random attack. Then throw it at whoever's winning.
- 1Charge. Play three cards to the shared area to fill your bolt.
- 2Attack. Tap your bolt, then tap a player. They'll know who did it.
- 3Defend. Shield blocks the next hit. Reflect sends it right back.
Rather keep it pure? Leave it off for a classic race.
The arsenal
Freeze
Locks their board. No moves at all.
Jam
Gums up their draw pile so it won't flip.
Anchor
Takes away Quick Tap. Every card has to be dragged.
Fog
Rolls in over their cards so they can't see what they hold.
Flip
Turns their whole world upside down.
Splat
Splats ink across the whole board.
Shrink
Shrinks their cards down to size.
Party
Disco ball, lights, confetti. Good luck finding your cards.
Blizzard
Freezes every opponent at once.
Shield
Blocks the next attack thrown at you.
Reflect
Bounces the next attack back at whoever threw it.

Online Blitz
Live online multiplayer against friends or strangers. Everyone sees the same board, so it's cheat-resistant by design. Add Attack Mode for chaos.
Daily Challenge
One shared shuffle a day. Race the clock and settle it on the leaderboard.
Solo Blitz
Offline play against AI at four difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Brutal. Brutal is not a joke, and in Attack Mode the bots fight back.

Can I play Nertz online with friends?
Yes, that's the whole point. Online Blitz drops you into a live game against friends or other players, with everyone seeing the same board in real time. It's cheat-resistant by design, so the game stays honest for everyone.
Can I play offline or solo?
Yes. Solo Blitz pits you against AI opponents at four difficulty levels, fully offline, with or without Attack Mode. There's also a guided tutorial and the daily timed challenge to chase your best run.
What is Attack Mode?
An optional rule for Online Blitz and Solo Blitz. Every card you play to the shared area charges your bolt. Fill it and you're dealt a random attack, like Freeze, Fog or Splat, to throw at another player. Shield and Reflect protect you. Leave it off for a classic race. See every attack.
Is Nertz Blitz a solitaire game?
